Haven't updated this, so I figure it's time.

Adding to favorite composers:

Dr. John Rutter, CBE, a prolific and awesome British composer/conductor who has written many great works;

Dr. Dan Forrest, an American composer/pianist/educator whose work Requiem for the Living is a beautiful composition and fun to sing.

Nominated and elected to be the District III President, my goals are:

--to do all I can to strengthen and encourage the Marshall Music Club and the Carthage Music Club in their endeavors to attract new members and fulfill the National Federation Collect by bringing the spiritualizing force of music to their respective communities;

--to re-establish dormant clubs and start new ones in the East Texas area. I've run up against some challenges in doing so but I remain positive that we will have some new clubs in our district soon;

--to stress the importance of completing and sending in the reports to the state and national levels.
